The APM Project Management Qualification Open Online Exam is an exam-only route, which will enable you to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of project management. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how these elements interact and how your project fits into your strategic and commercial environment.
It's aimed at those wishing to achieve a broad level of project management knowledge sufficient to participate in projects from individual assignments through to large capital projects.

The APM Project Management Qualification for PRINCE2® Practitioners Open Online Exam is an exam-only route, for candidates who hold the PRINCE2® Practitioners qualification. With a shorter exam, this route will save you time and money. The Management qualification develops your knowledge and understanding beyond your learning from PRINCE2®, to help you grow into a committed and capable project professional. It prepares you to deliver project success in critical areas such as budgeting and cost management, conflict management and teamwork.
There are 73 assessment criteria from the APM Body of Knowledge examined in the syllabus. As 26 of these are covered by PRINCE2® Practitioner, you will only be examined on the remaining 47 assessment criteria, including communication, earned value management, procurement and negotiation.

Exam duration: 2 hour paper with an additional 10 minutes reading time at the start.

Open online exams
Candidates can now sit an online training course and gain their qualification without leaving their home.
In total, the assessment of all elements will last two hours 35 minutes and will take place on the same day. The scenario assessment and oral exam elements will be carried out using video conferencing software. The project report will be carried out as an online written assessment, using the BTL Surpass platform.

The APM Project Risk Management Single Subject Certificate qualification which has two levels. It's designed to build on the knowledge gained in the APM Project Management Qualification or similar project management qualifications.
You can self-study and sit the exam at any time and place that suits you which is available all year round.
Level 1 determines the candidate’s knowledge of the subject, sufficient to allow them to contribute to risk management within a project.
Level 2 determines the candidate’s knowledge, understanding and capability in the subject, sufficient to allow them to undertake formal project risk management.
