Meet the team


Rebecca Fox - Director of Membership

I joined APM as Head of Commercial in July 2017 and am responsible for membership, marketing, corporate partnerships and events.

Prior to joining APM, I have worked internationally and in the UK for DHL Express and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) in a variety of commercial and managerial roles, including General Manager for CIPS MENA based in Dubai. I hold a Global MBA from Manchester Business School.

 

Tricia Moon - Commercial Partnership Manager

Having in excess of 30 years' cross-sector management experience spanning service delivery and national operations management, contracts & commercial management, business development, project & programme management and CRM & account management.

I joined APM in 2012 as Membership Development Manager with a focus on supporting Corporate Members to utilise the APM resources within all Five Dimensions of Professionalism, to develop their project management career frameworks. It also involved advising on all APM Standards, including competence assessments, corporate, academic and training provider accreditation streams.  More recently as a Partner Development Manager I have been driving the enhanced engagement opportunities with APM as the Chartered Body for the Project Profession, through the newly launched Corporate Partnership Programme.  This involved offering advice and support on key areas such as competence framework, qualifications, CPD and the route to chartered.

I'm now the Commercial Partnership Manager, leading the cross-functional team here to deliver an ever increasing value proposition to our Corporate Partners and Affiliates.

I thrive on helping others realise the benefits of project professionalism, and always enjoy the collaboration opportunities with our Partners.

Outside of work, I enjoy a varied and busy family and social life, with children now grown up, but a very proud Nanny to two adorable granddaughters.

 

Sophie Lawrence - Partnership Development Manager

I joined APM in June 2022 with a wealth of experience working predominantly in business development and events.

My responsibilities within the membership team:

  • Account management – building relationships with corporate clients and providing a directly link to APM resources. Specifically the public sector and charity members.
  • Corporate partner events/webinars – both organising and supporting of events for corporate members and their employees.
  • Promote and drive growth across all APM products including individual membership, qualifications and ChPP. Corporate accreditation – assist corporate members in the ascertaining/retention of corporate accreditation.
  • Work closely with other areas within APM to raise awareness and offer support.


Marcus Pathan - Partnership Development Manager

I joined APM as a Partnership Development Manager in September 2017 and am responsible for supporting a number of our Corporate Partners. This includes offering advice and support on key areas such as qualifications, events, CPD, Accreditation and Chartership.

Prior to joining APM, I worked for several years in the media and press industry. Most recently working for ABC, a not for profit membership body of national and International publications.

Outside of work I enjoy music, travelling, sport, reading and am an avid skier.


Ben Start - Partnership Development Manager

I joined APM in 2016 as part of the Service Innovations team and worked my way through the department ending up as the team leader for qualifications. I have a background of consultative sales and account management from my time working in the ‘daily deals’ market.

My responsibilities within the membership team include:

  • Account management – of corporate partners and affiliates.
  • Corporate partner events/webinars – both organising and supporting of events for corporate members.
  • Drive engagement and sales – with all corporate members across all aspects of APM, including qualifications, membership and ChPP.
  • Corporate accreditation – assist corporate members in the ascertaining/retention of corporate accreditation.


Austin Witney - Partnership Development Manager

I joined APM at the beginning of 2016 following 12 years in the manufacturing industry, where building relationships and communication were key in supporting clients based all over the world.

APM has evolved and progressed significantly during my time here, and it is part of my role to ensure that my key Corporate Partners are introduced to the many new developments and opportunities introduced to the profession. Working with organisations across many sectors, my aim is to raise awareness across your Project Management community and help build Project Management capability.

I enjoy spending my spare time running, biking and I am also a football coach for my sons team. Quality family life is also important for me.


Gavin Spencer - Senior Business Development Manager

I am passionate about helping organisations grow, develop their staff and thrive, having spent 16 years working in a similar not for profit organisation, the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group in a variety of business development, key account management and leadership roles.

I joined APM in November 2021 and my role at APM is to raise the profile of the organisation penetrating new sectors & markets which include;

  • Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical/BioPharma and Healthcare
  • Financial & Legal Services
  • Space
  • Local Authorities
  • UK house builders


Angela King - Business Development Manager

My current role, as BDM within the membership team ultimately involves generating new business and supporting and growing corporate partner and affiliate membership.

I joined APM in March 2022 following a background of working in general business support.

My role at APM is supporting the Membership team with any requests. I am also responsible for organising the Real World Project Management and Sector webinars which are available to our members as well as assisting with the organisation of in-person events for the Membership team.
