
Route 2
Route 2 is for project professionals who have a recognised assessment for technical knowledge and professional practice.
Your assessment of technical knowledge and professional practice is via the recognised assessment that you hold, therefore you do not need to complete a written submission. You will be asked to upload your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) covering 35 hours and give your proposers’ details.
You will then be invited to an interview which will last up to 30 minutes and will cover:
- CPD
- Ethics
- Currency of mandatory competences

- APM Group – Praxis Framework Professional
- University of Cumbria - Masters in Project Leadership
- Sellafield Ltd – Sellafield Project Manager Level 2 Assessment
- Atkins ADS&T Business Unit - ADS&T PM Competency Assessment
- Petroleum Development Oman - JG2 (Project Engineer Level 2) role
For all recognised assessments that have a validity date, the certificate needs to be current during the full assessment cycle that an applicant applies under.
Application fees
The annual registration fee will be £80 +VAT, with the first payment due 12 months after award of ChPP. For members of APM, the fee will be aligned to your membership renewal date.

Should any part of the process need to be repeated, the appropriate fee for that part of the process must be paid at re-submission.
